The food was amazing and worth the wait, we gobbled it down once it arrived. The think is I wish the menu was more vegetarian friendly and the guy brought the ginger before we finished our meal.
This is really good Dumplings, their spicy and sour sauce is amazing. The decor is very trendy and modern but it can use a little cleaning. I will attach photos to show you. Don't remember what I ordered but anything you order from their dumpling menus will be FIRE!!!!
I don't recall what we had as I left everything up to my niece and nephew whom we were visiting from Detroit. They ordered a lox of several dumplings and I requested the pan fried specifically. We totally pigged out and enjoyed and for a feast like this I was impressed we got out for like $130 for all 4 of us with eating enough for 8.
These are the best dumplings ever!! The waiters are so kind, and the atmosphere is super modern. I love the chili sauce, and it went sooo well with the dumplings! We got the shrimp zucchini steamed dumplings, the seared veggie dumplings, the sweet and sour cucumbers and scallion pancakes. Can't pick a favorite, they were all amazing! I definitely recommend getting something fresh like the cucumbers with the rest of your meal since it is all very rich. Otherwise doesn't look like you can go wrong.
Love, love, love Dough Zone. I had never really had dim sum before, and this was a fantastic introduction. The Xiao Long Bao soup dumplings are delicious, I think I could eat about 4 orders of it myself. The cucumber is a great appetizer, and has a great dressing. I've tried most things here at this point, and I'd highly recommend: Any of the pork and shrimp dishes Dan Dan noodles Chili pork wontons All of the desserts Definitely recommend dough zone to anyone who's looking to feast on some delicious dumplings.
The main thing in this location is to get here early on a Sunday. Then street parking is free and at 11 it is t crowded. The location is pretty ideal if you going to uwajimaya anyway. We love the dan dan noodles and the Jian Bao (the a-Bao is their brand name) is great. The main thing is the menu isn't super long but each was is great. They use yelp wait list for appointments but this spot definitely fills up so come early. And then do your Waji's shopping and feel really Asian. Also from the central seattle location they will sell you 50 frozen xiao long bao which is not bad at home. The main thing to have the little dumplings as soon as they come out. They are like fries best fresh before the soup gets absorbed by the skin
This place also hits the spot and never misses. Great flavors, great variety of dishes, quick services and love that there are multiple locations! Expect a little wait, but always worth it, so put your name on the list and grab a drink nearby! INSTAGRAM We knead dough(zone) to survive the winter!!! West Coast and more on the horizon. Seattle, WA
I love dumplings, but my wife is not a fan, so while in Seattle, my coworker took me here and it was wonderful!!! She ordered for us both and we got salad, noodles, pan fried dumplings, pan fried buns, and Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings). They were my favorite, but everything was so delicious that I could have easily scarfed down more than what we ordered. She also turned me on to black vinegar which tasted great with the other sauces available on the table. I know this isn't the most famous place in Seattle for dumplings (and I haven't been there), but Dough Zone is hands down the best place I've eaten at in Seattle to date. It's a cute little place that gets packed quickly. We got a table because we thought the area was not busy due to President's Day, but when we left, there was a line out the door, so whether it's a work day or holiday, plan accordingly if you're heading to Dough Zone.
Today I found myself near Seattle looking for some pu-er tea & the tea shop is closed until 1p. I see the Dough Zone and with all I've heard, I have to try it. I'm familiar with soup dumpling, so I ordered the Xiso Long Bao and something new...let's try the Dan Dan noodles. I like Szechuan food. Everything comes out quick and I drive in. I quickly remember that I need to take a pic... the food is delicious and loved how friendly and clean everything is. Now to find my tea!
